None. Focus25 collects zero personal information. Everything is stored locally in your browser using:

  • IndexedDB: For your tasks and session history
  • LocalStorage: For your timer settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device and is completely under your control.

Data Retention

Your data is stored in your browser until you explicitly clear it. You can delete your data at any time by:

  • Clearing your browser's site data for focus25.app
  • Using browser developer tools to clear IndexedDB and LocalStorage
  • Using the export feature to back up your data before clearing

Third-Party Services

Ahrefs Web Analytics: Focus25 uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the application. Ahrefs is a privacy-focused analytics service that:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not track users across sites
  • Collects only anonymized, aggregate data (page views, referrers, browser types)
  • Does not collect or store personally identifiable information
  • Is GDPR compliant

This analytics data helps us understand which features are most valuable and where to focus development efforts. It does not track your tasks, timer settings, or any personal data - those remain private in your browser.

No other third-party services: We do not use advertising services, social media trackers, or any other third-party tracking.

Notifications

If you grant notification permissions, Focus25 will send browser notifications when timer sessions complete. These are local notifications that do not involve any external services.

Share Button

When you use the share button, your timer settings are encoded in the URL. This allows you to share your preferred timer configuration with others, but no data is sent to our servers.
